Rick has a major clinic/event coming up in July of 2010. Not only is he holding a major bomb-proofing your horse clinic but he’ll also be launching his new book! Here’s the latest information on where, when, and how to attend:
If you liked the Bomb-Proofing Clinics, you’ll love the Bomb-Proofing Camp!
An all day clinic and seminar designed for riders who are serious about acclimating themselves and their horses to all the bomb proofi ng and mounted police training methods, including mounted formations (perfect for anyone hoping to do drill teams or quadrilles), sensory training, defensive tactics and crowd control. Excellent for trail riders who travel with their horses, Civil War re-enactors, parade horses, demo horses, track ponies, foxhunters and anyone who ever hopes to ride their horse in front of a cheering crowd. Candidates must be able to demonstrate competency at the walk, trot and canter, must be able to brake, steer and stand. Horse needs to be reliably comfortable with other horses, and must be able to stand quietly on the trailer for a period of time (or rider will need to rent a stall for the day). Day will include some mounted and some in-hand work, lectures and lunch. No more than 16 horses will be accepted.
All participants will receive lunch and a signed copy of Rick’s new book. Reservations required, even for auditors. Deadline for reservations is July 6.
STANDARD RATE: $325 per horse and rider; $295 if registered by May 30; Auditors: $45
PREVIOUS CLINIC CLIENT RATE:* $300 per horse & rider; $270 if registered by May 30
*For horses and rider combinations who have already participated in a Pelicano Clinic
